Yaesu vx-6 won't access memory bank

My 7 year old vx-6 will not access the memory bank feature. The manual says to push the [scn/bnd/dn] button but all that happens is that the rig goes into scanning the memory channels. Any ideas? Also I bought a programming cable on Amazon, but the jack doesn't fit the radio. Where can I buy a reliable programming cable. I have VX commander software. |
