Please keep N9UC, the University of Chicago Amateur Radio Society, on your

records.  The station has been temporarily displaced from its building at the University of Chicago and most components are in storage, while VHF/UHF capabilities are on loan to the Adler Planetarium.  The club call has been used on 2 meters by a student group for balloon flights.  A room has been secured for restoring the station, and one 40 meter dipole was installed before work was put on hold by the pandemic.  When the pandemic ends, work will begin with the installation of a 20 meter dipole and a meeting will be held of those inddividuals who have expressed interest in the club.  At that point elections of officers will be scheduled.
