Recognized by the ARRL in March of 2018, the club is named for the University of Cincinnati's mascot, the Bearcat.  Members are either UC graduates or have a very strong tie to the University.  While an active club, events and member gatherings are typically driven by ARRL specific events such as Winter and Summer Field Day, Hamvention in Xenia or on the air events like 13 Colonies.  The club also peforms outreach programs to the communitiy when able such as the support to local YOTA activities or Boy Scout activities as requested by the local council.  We have also partnered with the West Chester Amateur Radio Club and the National Voice of America Museum for such activites as Pi Day at the local high schools.  Contact the secretary at the gmail address for additional information.
