If you are a regular reader of this weekly piece, you know I occasionally wax nostalgically about the good old days, like back in the last century, when I started out on this wonderful wireless journey with my first crystal set, or last week, when gasoline was still less than $2 per gallon (nostalgia is relative).

Anyway, I just read a radio-related graphic biography that has lots of similarities to my own biography. It is probably similar to the biographies of many of you who got your radio start between the time that rock was starting to roll, to about the time that the fab lads from Liverpool became four solo acts. Lid, Kid, Space Cadet is the name of the biography and it is written by one of our very own, Jeff Murray, K1NSS.

Last June, I featured Jeff's Ham Radio Cartoon Web site here, but that was in the pre- Lid, Kid, Space Cadet era. I am featuring his Web site here again after reading his book, which reminded me of the time I cracked open the pages of Jean Shepherd's, K2ORS, In God We Trust, All Others Pay Cash many years ago when I was a kid, lid and space cadet. If you were also a kid, lid and/or space cadet, I think you will enjoy K1NSS's book as much as I did.
