Frequency Measuring Test (FMT) Set for April 7 at 0215 UTC
The April Frequency Measuring Test (FMT) will get under way on April 7 at 0215 UTC (the evening of Wednesday, April 6, in US time zones). Transmissions will take place on 20, 40, and 80 meters, respectively.
The 20 meter transmission will have two parts — the first beaming east from California (W6OQI), and the second beaming toward Japan. Participants should submit only one 20 meter measurement but are encouraged to measure both transmissions and compare the measured frequency and signal characteristics in their comments.
Submit measurements to the Frequency Measuring Test Data Entry page (click on “Data Entry”) by April 10 at 0300 UTC. (Note: The Data Entry page will be updated by the time of the FMT to accept 2016 submissions.)
