And you were right on the money! I simply ran Firefox instead of Chrome, and that's all it took. Thank you very much and sorry, I can be a little slow on the uptake. Vin KR2F |

Thank you both for your replies. I have ensured that it is configured to accept all cookies, but it is still behaving this way. Zachary, I am not certain what that link means for me. The clock on my computer is synched up with my internet connection and the article seems to mention certain lines of code, but i don't know how that applies to me. Could you elaborate, please? | ||
Computer keeps switching to "logged out" on ARRL website | KR2F | on 19/3/21 |
Hi there. Writing this from a work laptop. My main computer cannot seem to maintain a logged in status on the ARRL website. I keep trying to go to FORUMS for one thing or another, and after logging in, it will suddenly show the not logged in message after I hit FORUMS and select a particular forum. The situation on my laptop is perfectly normal. I assume I need to correct something in my settings, but I'm not sure what it might be. Cookies, perhaps? Any assistance will be appreciated. Thank you. Vin KR2F |

2 kHz third order dynamic range on TS-590S | KR2F | on 19/3/21 |
Hello. I am in the final stages of making a decision between an Icom IC-7300 and a Kenwood TS-590SG. I was initially leaning toward the Icom, partially because I have never owned an Icom and also it is an SDR and has the spectral display. I have looked at various comparisons and the only thing making me hesitate is the 2kHz 3rd order dynamic range spec. There is a considerable difference between the two, leaning in favor of the Kenwood, but I cannot say for certain how much of a difference it will make. The Icom's is 95 dB and the Kenwood's is 106 dB. They are both very good radios for their price class, plus I know the Icom seems to have more bang for the buck, and I was looking forward to playing with the SDR and spectral display also. IOW, I am really not sure what I want to do. What does the hive mind think about this spec? By the way, I currently have a Kenwood TS-570S, so the TS-590 would be a bit easier for me to familiarize myself with, but that's not necessarily a big deal for me. Thank you. Vin KR2F |
