I am sure this has been asked before, I have a lot of QSL cards and a logbooks with my old callsign, KC4WWU. I requested a Vanity callsign about 4 years ago, and I am wanting to get back into HF. I obviously do not want to start over making contacts with my new call. Anyone have any pointers or information on this subject? Should I just continue with my logging program using the new callsign? Any input on this would be great. Thanks, 73, Pete K4QHR |

Just continue on. You'll work some stations again who are unaware of your change. If you use Logbook of The World, you'll need a new certificate for your new callsign. Otherwise, just note the date of the change so that any later QSOs with your old call are invalid for contact with you and likewise, any QSOs prior to the effective date are invalid for QSOs with you. 73, de Nate >> N0NB.us |
