For me, this is actually an interesting question because when a new video game comes out, we usually know about it in advance since we’re all waiting for it. There’s a release date, and on Steam, you can even pre-order it sometimes. Basically, there’s hype, it’s an anticipated event, there’s news, info from developers, and all that. But in the gambling industry, it’s kind of unclear how it works. New games just appear in different casinos, and that’s it. |

I also think these types of games serve different purposes. The release of a new video game is like the launch of a highly anticipated TV show or movie. Gambling games, on the other hand, are more like tools in an online casino, so there’s no real reason to wait for each one. There are way too many games to keep track of every single one. And when it comes to slots, for example, a lot of them are very similar, so I don’t really see the point in creating hype around each one. |
