I am restoring an old Gonset GSB-100 transmitter which contains a 4 uF, 100 VDC oil filled capacitor. The capacitance of the component is spot on, but I have no idea what the ESR spec for the part is. It was made by Micamold, pn CP53B1EB405M, but I cannot find any info on the web regarding the part spec or on the ESR of oil filled caps in general. Any info on what the ESR of an oil filled cap of that value & WVDC should be would be much appreciated. Randy, K0FA |
