Echolink troubleshoot. Port Forwarding

Hello, New to Amateur Radio and Echolink. I can hear some but not many on my computer. Read some challenges w E-link when on cellphone and computer. I think one of the main barrier for my computer is "Port Forwarding". Q: Has anyone done configuration changes to the router to set the port for incoming traffic? Anyone has expertise on this? Is the "Port Forwarding Network Utilities" program an easy way to accomplish this? hate to tinker with network stuff when I'm doing this for fun and three others at home are dependent on the internet for learning/teaching! I haven't found any posts related to Port Forwarding. Hope someone can give me a clue. |
