The Boulder Amateur Radio Club (BARC) is an ARRL Special Service club which maintains VHF, UHF, ATV and IRLP/Echolink repeaters.  The club operates weekly, VHF voice and amateur television nets.  The club holds monthly meetings which include technical programs.  The club pubishes a monthly newsletter.   Club activities include ARRL Field Days with GOTA stations.  The club provides communications assistance for community activities.  The club holds an annual BARCfest hamfest.

New members and visitors are welcome.  BARC holds VE license exams at its hamfests.  The club supports the BARC Junior youth group and the Unviersity of Colorado Amateur Radio Club.  The club supports Boulder County Amateur Radio Emergency Services (BCARES) ARES activities through providing community health and welfare emergency communications.  Jointly with the BARC Junior youth group, the club awards annual scholarships to deserving university student hams.
